Providers Communications Toolkit
A communications toolkit for those establishing or expanding talking treatments under the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) programme.
Welcome to
the Communications Toolkit for all commissioners and providers of
Improving Access to Psychological Therapies services. The Toolkit has
been developed by the National Programme Team and aims to support the
delivery of local services across England.
Our
aim was to devise a toolkit that supports you to deliver a high
standard of communications about your IAPT programme alongside and in
line with your existing communications activity. It is with this in mind
that we include a lot of material that you can use to insert into your
existing templates, newsletters, leaflets etc and we are not prescribing
that you must use all or any of the material - but we do hope you will
recognise that this material can save you time and money.
The
toolkit was devised with the input of existing IAPT providers and we
have therefore aimed to include the best of what has worked or doesn't
work for this service. Our thanks go to the teams in Camden and
Islington for their time in this process.
This
toolkit has been launched with wave three sites yet to go live and as
such we hope that we can develop it further with your feedback, comments
and suggestions - please send these to us by e-mailing iapt@dh.gsi.gov.uk
For examples of communications material from other services please visit the Involving People Resources page. Please send us any examples of IAPT communications you may wish to share with other services.
